Bristol Rovers Community Trust is seeking to employ a dynamic individual to lead on our Primary school health programme +Sport Move Learn which is funded by the EFL Trust.
The successful candidate will need to be able to deliver a range of P.E. lessons and curriculum based classroom learning to young people, who are of varying ability, predominately in KS2. It will involve forming partnerships with local schools, junior football clubs and community groups, with the aim of increasing the health and wellbeing of participants through education & participation. The role includes supporting talent and providing an opportunity for young people to develop, using sport as a vehicle.
We are seeking someone who is knowledgeable and passionate about the workings of charities, football and sport. They will need to excel in the areas of school P.E. and classroom delivery and be able to engage with a wide range of people.

Job Title: Community Coach: +Sport Move Learn Lead
Report to: CEO of the Trust, Community Manager
Responsible for: +Sport Move Learn Project including sports coaching and education delivery
Location: Based at The Memorial Stadium with additional travel to various other locations in Bristol and South Gloucestershire
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week. The role requires flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as required
Contract: Full time starting ASAP: Initially a 1 year contract with the view to make the position permanent
Job Purpose: To coach football / multi-sports P.E lessons and deliver classroom based education focussing on healthy living for children of all abilities in a primary school setting
Remuneration: Salary dependant on experience, £17,000-£19,000 per annum
