EXETER CITY v BRISTOL ROVERS
A young and inexperienced Bristol Rovers reserve team squad played an Exeter City reserve team.
The match was at 1 pm on Tuesday 28th March 2017.
The Bristol Rovers side, mainly youth team scholars, included Kieran Hodges, Luke Russe, Sam Hedges, Sam Iles, Cameron Hargreaves, Tyrone Tucker-Dixon, Connor Jones, Lewis Ellington, Liam Armstrong, Toby Rennie, Dan Lammiman, James Spruce and Lewis Leigh-Gilchrist, Ryan Broom and two trialists.
The fixture took place at Exeter City’s training ground, the Cat and Fiddle, on the Sidmouth Road in Clyst St Mary.
The Exeter City training base, the Cat and Fiddle, looked in very good condition for yesterday’s reserve team fixture.
The results of the Central League reserve team fixtures on Tuesday 28th March 2017 were:
AFC Bournemouth 4 v 1 Peterborough United.
Exeter City 7 v 0 Bristol Rovers.
Newport County 0 v 2 Cheltenham Town.
Swindon Town 2 v 1 Southend United.
