Derby County goalkeeper Kelle Roos has returned to his parent club half way through his season-long loan spell.

The 24-year-old shot-stopper joined Bristol Rovers back in August 2016.

A clause in the loan agreement has been triggered and he has now returned to Derby County.

It is thought that Kelle may well go out on loan again until the end of the 2016/17 season.

He made 22 appearances in all competitions for Bristol Rovers; the last being one month ago.

His appearances include his 3 minute cameo in the EFL Cup at Pompey on Tuesday 8th November 2016.

Kelle Roos joined Derby County in January 2014 from PSV who he had joined as a teenager.

As well as his loan at Bristol Rovers he has had loan experience at Rotherham United and AFC Wimbledon.

Kelle has now made a total of 54 cup and league appearances for a total of 4 league clubs.

Will Puddy has now played the last six matches for The Pirates since Saturday 10th December 2016.
