Rovers and Shrewsbury charged by the FA

It is being reported by the BBC that both Rovers and Shrewsbury have been charged by the FA with failing to control their players in Saturday’s game.

Following the 17th minute incident which followed Shrewsbury’s Louis Thompson going down in the box referee Graham Salisbury booked Anssi Jaakkola and Victor Adeboyejo of Rovers, and Shrewsbury’s Josh Laurent, Ollie Norburn and Louis Thompson.
The Shrews have also been charged with failing to ensure its players refrained from violent conduct, with Aaron Pierre also facing an individual charge. The Centre-back has been charged with violent conduct after an incident “not seen by the match officials but caught on video”.
