The initial draw of the much maligned 2017/18 Checkatrade Trophy EFL has taken place this morning.
Rovers will face Wycombe Wanderers and Swindon Town in this year’s competition.
The three clubs will also play a Category One club, which will be determined by a draw on Wednesday 12th July at 3pm, when the fixtures for this season’s competition will also be decided.
Chelsea, Fulham, Reading, Southampton, Swansea City, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are the Category One Clubs that Rovers could face when the draw takes place next Wednesday.
We fully understand that many of you will choose to continue to boycott this competition.
