Bonham reinforces Darrell Clarke’s goalkeeping options, following the departure of Sam Slocombe on loan to Lincoln City.
The 24-year old stopper spent last season on loan at League Two Carlisle United where he served as the club’s number one, making a total of 49 appearances in all competitions.
His career began at Watford, where he signed a scholarship in June 2010 and then signed a professional deal just three months later, aged 17.
He’d have to wait until May 2013 to make his debut for the Hornets, appearing as a substitute in the 76th minute on their final game of the season at Leeds United.
Prior to that campaign he did go off on a brief loan spell, playing nine games for Isthmian League side Harrow Borough.
In June 2013 Bonham moved to Brentford, penning an initial 2-year deal but spent much of his initial season on loan at Evo-Stik League South outfit Arlesey Town.
He returned to the Bees and served as David Button’s back up after an injury to Richard Lee and has remained with the club ever since.
Speaking about the arrival of the goalkeeper, Manager Darrell Clarke said, “We are pleased that a deal to bring Jack in on loan has been agreed.”
“With Sam Slocombe joining Lincoln, we were looking for another goalkeeper and Jack fits that bill.”

The loan move is subject to EFL clearance.
