Bristol Rovers Women’s were delighted to announce the signing of Laura Curnock earlier this week and everyone at the club would like to welcome her to the ‘Gas Family’. The twenty-three year old forward recently completed her transfer to the ‘Gas Girls’ from Chipping Sodbury Town and is available to make her debut in the blue & white quarters this Sunday against Frampton Rangers.

Curnock said,”I am absolutely delighted to join Bristol Rovers. This is an exciting opportunity for myself and I’m looking forward to contributing to the successes on the pitch. I also wanted to say a huge thank you to Chipping Sodbury Town FC for their continued support over the last five years and I wish them the very best of luck for the future.”

First-Team Manager, Nathan Hallett-Young added,”I’m thrilled that Laura has decided to sign for Bristol Rovers. Her ambitions match ours as a club, she has a terrific attitude and she will be a quality addition to the squad. She’s already settling in well with the squad and she already understands what this club is all about.”

With seven matches remaining in the South West Regional League (Northern Division), Laura is already keen to make her mark on the 2021/22 campaign and push on to help Bristol Rovers progress in the seasons to come.

From everyone at Bristol Rovers, welcome to the ‘Gas Family’ Laura!
