The Pirate, on sale tonight

This season’s issue is packed full of news and views from an eclectic mix of contributors, all writing about Bristol Rovers and those articles sit side by side with a wide range of articles on club matters.

In Tuesday’s programme, for our game against Oldham Athletic, manager Darrell Clarke pens his own article, we have news from our Academy, including two match reports and an update on what the younger age groups have been up to over the summer, a centre page poster of Billy Bodin, and an extensive historical section where we look back at this month in 2010 when Jeff Hughes scored a hat trick against Dagenham & Redbridge and John Akinde failed to register a goal following his loan move from the other side of town!

Dominic Telford faces the questions sent in on Twitter, and our opposition fact file lists some fascinating facts about our visitors.

In addition we carry interviews with Tom Nichols and Dominic Telford, while it’s Ryan Broom’s turn to be the dressing room DJ in this week’s edition of Pirate Sounds, brought to you by Lance Cook.

The Pirate is available from our match-day club shop, Pirate Leisure and from our sellers around the stadium and still only costs £3.00; why not purchase a copy tonight and see what you think?
