Following last Saturday’s opening day defeat our Bristol Rovers Supporters Club sponsored Academy U18 side bounced back to win their first home EFL Youth Alliance fixture, defeating Newport County 3-2.
The first goal came after a flowing move that was finished off well by Zak Ford, before an Owen Brain brace secured the victory with 2 excellent finishes.
Under current guidelines all Academy fixtures unfortunately do have to be played behind closed doors.
