Bristol Rovers FC are looking to recruit a full time individual for the role of Head of Coaching to oversee the monitoring and development of the Academy’s football philosophy as well as the development of the coaching workforce in line with the Academy’s coaching philosophy.
Successful applicants will report directly to the Academy Manager, and will become a prominent person within the Academy Management Team ensuring the highest level of standards are met within the coaching department in line with the EPPP
We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate an extensive working knowledge of the coaching process and development of an elite level coaching program, as well as being an excellent coach developer to support the coaching workforce.
High levels of communication skills, interpersonal skills and motivational skills are essential.
Applicants will only be considered if they hold a minimum of UEFA ‘A’ Licence and the FA Youth Award, whilst the FA Advanced Youth Award and being educated to at least degree level would be advantageous.
Experience in a similar role or as a coach educator would be desirable.
Successful applicants will undergo a screening process that will include an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure.
