The Decisions Were Made

The voting for the Bristol Rovers Supporters  Club End-Of-Season Awards.

For the last two seasons the voting has been done online and by using a ballot box.

For the 2015/16 season the online voting was roughly 60% of the total votes cast.

Use of the online voting process increased the total number of votes cast over previous seasons.

For the 2016/17 season the online voting was about 88% of the total votes cast.

This indicates the way in which voting needs to be conducted in the future.

The awards that supporters could vote for the last two seasons were:

(1).The PLAYER OF THE SEASON category.

For 2016/17, there was a close fight between Ollie Clarke, the eventual winner, and Paul Bodin.

(2). The YOUNG PLAYER OF THE SEASON category.

For 2016/17, three players dominated the voting; with Tom Lockyer beating Ryan Sweeney and Joe Lumley.

(3). The GOAL OF THE SEASON category.

For 2016/17, Chris Lines early season goal was only seriously challenged by one of the specials from Paul Bodin.

The results of the voting were made public on Thursday 20th April 2017 at The Open Training Session.

Thank you for voting in the Bristol Rovers Supporters Club 2016/17 Season Awards.
