Our shop at “199” to close on May 18th

May 10, 2018 | News

The Bristol Rovers Supporters Club shop at 199 Two Mile Hill Road, Kingswood, will close its doors to customers for the last time at 5pm next Friday, 18th May.

With the football club taking all future ticket sales and merchandising fully “in house” from now on there is no longer a need for the Supporters Club to provide these services and sadly we will be closing down after nearly 70 years of service to the football club. The Supporters Club originally had a shop in Stapleton Road, Eastville, from the 1950’s until we took over the then Kingswood headquarters from the football club in the late 80’s. We have remained in Kingswood ever since despite also running Pirate Leisure both in Gloucester Road then in the stadium until five years ago.

The Committee would like to thank all our loyal customers at “199” and to place on record our sincere thanks to our long-serving staff members Berni, Paul and Anna, for their years of service to the club and to whom we wish all the very best for the future.

Finally, all the usual Supporters Club’s match day activities such as 50/50 tickets and programme sales, together with minor items sales like old programmes and badges etc along with memberships and away travel will continue to be available from our sales cabin in the stadium car park on matchdays.

The Supporters Club website and our column in the “Pirate” will continue to provide further details in due course.
