Punters may be interested to know that the Supporters Clubs 50/50 half-time draw has so far this season raised around £18,000 for our sponsorship of the Rovers’ Youth Academy and the Development Squad. Thanks to our small army of volunteer sellers and to all our thousands of customers of course both the Under-18’s and Under-23’s are again performing well this campaign.
It is great to learn that so many of the latter squad are out on loan to other lower-ranked clubs and are earning rave reviews like Alfie Kilgour turning-in ‘Man-of-the-match’ performances at Maidenhead United, Lewis Leigh-Gilchrist banging the goals in at Yate Town and Luke Russe at Gloucester City.
