As the main sponsors of both the Rovers’ Youth Academy and the Development Squad, the Supporters Club continues to provide funds for all the Club’s up-and-coming players this season. We have an arrangement with the Football Club that we pay over our earnings from the 50/50 Draw in quarterly ‘chunks’ and last week our Treasurer, Sue Williams, arranged the first of these with £6,000 going into the Academy and a further £1,500 to the Under-23’s.
These payments are only possible of course because of your generosity in buying the 50/50 tickets from our volunteer sellers who will be all around the ground again this afternoon. It’s great that so many of you are so generous in supporting us and I hope this will continue in the future. Keep buying those tickets!
