Former Rovers stars to return

PAUL RANDALL AND GRAHAM DAY TO BE WELCOMED BACK TO THE ‘MEM’ BY BRISTOL ROVERS
Former Bristol Rovers stars Paul Randall and Graham Day will be the special guests of honour for the Bristol Rovers v Burton Albion clash at the Memorial Stadium on Saturday 14th April 2012.
The two Rovers favourites have been invited back to the Mem for what is part of the Bristol Rovers exciting supporters matchday experience. This is the first of what will be many other invitations to former players by the Supporters Club to attend matches and meet supporters during this game and matches next season.
Former Rovers star and Community Manager, Pete Aitken, will host the two players and their guests during their visit. Their programme will include a question and answer session in the Uplands Suite with Ian Holtby. Then again at half time, they will be invited by Nick Day for a further question and answer session on the pitch as well as making the 50/50 draw. At the end of the game, Paul and Graham will then join Rovers supporters in the Supporters Club bar to meet fans and sign autographs.
Paul Randall, a prolific striker, had two spells with the club making 239 appearances and scoring 94 goals for the Pirates between 1977 and 1986. He also enjoyed spells with several other clubs, including Stoke City and Yeovil.
Bristol born Graham Day, was an outstanding centre half, who began his career at Bristol Rovers in 1974. He went on to make 130 league appearances scoring one goal. Graham also played in the North American Soccer League
for the Portland Timbers
, making a further 135 league appearances, scoring 11 goals.
