Saturday saw a coach load of youngsters arriving at the Mem to enjoy the match courteousy of Bristol Rovers.

The club entertained Oldland Abbotonians under 9’s team, who were bussed in under the clubs ‘Bussing’ initiative, a scheme aimed at encouraging a new generation of Rovers fans for the future.

The scheme is run by Dan Wright and Simon Philips, who greeted the boys as they got off the coach. Also there to meet them were club Directors, Kim Stuckey and Kevin Spencer. Once off the coach, a draw took place with the prize being a signed Bristol Rovers football. The lucky winner was Jamie Noble, and he was pesented with his prize by Kevin Spencer.
