Season Ticket Prices Announced For 06/07

March 8, 2006

Bristol Rovers have announced they will be putting season tickets on sale from March 10th with fans able to make savings of up to 8 matches* if they take advantage of the early purchase offers.

Early sale of season tickets for the 2006- 2007 season starts on Friday 10th March at 9am and continues until April 8th. The good news for early buyers is that during this period the price remains the same as the 2005-2006 prices. In addition there is a great offer for U16s accompanying an adult on the Evening Post Family Enclosure or in the XXXX Stand, with a season ticket costing just £32, including membership of the Young Pirates for the whole season.

The Club will also continue with its successful Fans of The Future campaign in 2006/07, with children of seven and under able to get onto the Family Enclosure free of charge for the season, when accompanied by an adult. Finally there will be eight Fans of The Future matches in 2006-2007 when any child of primary school age can accompany an adult in the XXXX Stand or Family Enclosure for free.

Supporters Director Kim Stuckey commented: “We want to give supporters the chance to get season tickets in March at the same price as last season’s earlybird prices, or in some cases even slightly down on that.”
“We obviously are aiming at getting into League 1 for next season and want to reward those fans who want to watch us next season with an early chance to buy season tickets at League 2 prices. Even in League 2 we expect a slight increase in pricing next season and this incentive will help fans guarantee their financial commitments for next season. Our Football in the Community and Education Departments have been performing great work in the local community and we want to build on this success with some innovative offers for the next generation of Rovers Fans.”

When accompanied by an adult in the XXXX Stand or the Evening Post Family Enclosure, all under 7s can get a season ticket for free and U16s can get a season ticket for just over £1 a game. In addition we will be giving membership of the Young Pirates so the youngsters can feel part of the Bristol Rovers family. Finally even for the casual supporter, we will have eight games next season with free admission to the XXXX Stand and Family Enclosure for primary school children.

Finally students for the 2006-2007 university year and 16 and 17 year olds in full time education as of August 4th 2006 can purchase season tickets at Juvenile prices.

The outlook for next season looks positive; we have managed to keep hold of our best players and Lenny and Paul have Rovers playing the most entertaining football seen at the Mem for many years. We hope our supporters want to be a part of this success and this season ticket offer demonstrates our commitment to our fans.

The full season ticket prices and matchday prices for 2006- 2007 will be announced in May when the club will know which division it is in next season. However these offer prices, running from March 10th to April 8th, are guaranteed whatever Division the Club is in.

* 8 game saving based on a adult season ticket in the Bass Terrace, versus paying the full matchday price at 23 home games.
