We were saddened to learn of the sudden death of Angela Mann who served Bristol Rovers as an employee of the Football Club for twenty four years. Angela’s untimely early passing at the age of just 56 reminds us that life can be so short and that the important things in life are family and friends.
Football can assume an almost overwhelming importance at times in the lives of those who are so closely associated with it. There are moments, as we have seen during the summer, when people can fall out over the very thing that bonds them. Angela’s death gives us a moment to pause and reflect on what is truly important. The thoughts of the Executive Committee of Bristol Rovers Supporters Club are with her husband, children and grandchildren at this very sad time.
