Cheltenham Open Day
May 13, 2008
[image1]Following the Supporters Club’s suggestion, Cheltenham Town have kindly offered to open their ground up to Bristol Rovers fans in order for an informed choice to be made regarding the purchase of season tickets at the Whaddon Road ground for the 2008-09 season.
The ground will be open on Saturday 31st May between 11am and 2pm for fans to wander round and assess the various areas of the ground prior to making decisions on seaston tickets.
In addition, it was decided at an Executive Committee meeting held last night that the Supporters Club would provide free of charge two coaches to travel up to Cheltenham for this purpose. This is subject to fans signing up for their 2008-09 Supporters Club membership at the same time. Membership fees have been pegged at last season’s prices which are £7 for adults and children and £3.50 for over 65’s. Members of the Share Scheme can still collect their free membership as before which will also entitle them to book a seat on the coach. The coaches will depart from The Memorial Stadium only and will spend an hour at Whaddon Road before returning.
As there are only two coaches they are being booked on a first come first served basis. Membership and coach bookings can be applied for in person or over the phone.
