Share Scheme Latest

March 25, 2009

[image1]One of the new initiatives for members of the share scheme is to raffle a signed shirt at each home game. The draw today is for a very special shirt that of Andy ‘Rambo’ Rammell and the actual away shirt he wore when scoring those vitally important goals that kept us from relegation to the Conference. Who can forget that wonderful strike away at Oxford? What makes it even better is that it is a Black Arab shirt which is very fitting for our 125th anniversary. Better still Andy has agreed to come to the Stockport game on the 28th March 2009 and present the shirt himself. Please make a special effort to come to the Stockport game next Saturday to thank Andy. The plan is that Andy will have a quick early drink in the bars before having a meal in the 1883 Club in the Uplands Suite. Andy will then be presented to the guests in the Corporate Boxes and is a guest in the Board Room. Andy will make the draw for his shirt at half time. After the game Andy will come to the Supporters Club bar to say his farewells so please come and see Andy.

The shirt winner from the Leicester game, Roger Clark, was presented with his shirt at the game against Leeds on Saturday 7th of March 2009.

Today we will be presenting the latest winner, Richard Cole, with his signed shirt won in the draw at the Leeds game.

Through 2009 we will continue to strive towards the primary objectives of the Share Scheme, which are to maximise its shareholding on behalf of the Supporters Club and the income into the football club. We have recently written to everyone who has been in the share scheme at some time but their membership has lapsed. We have had a positive response with several members rejoining in the first couple of weeks. We would also like prospective new members to join so if you or a friend want to know more please contact Clare McDonagh at Pirate Leisure on (0117) 952 4001 [email protected] or myself on (01225)743928 [email protected]
