Welcome Jermaine

Ken’s Comment

In answer to many questions from supporters I have agreed that if we put more goals into the squad, we have a good chance of catching Barnet, fending off other clubs in the running and returning our club to The Football League at the first attempt.

The defence has been exceptional so far and has the best record in the Conference. We have lost less games than any other club but we need to convert draws into wins. To be fair, the results over Christmas were outstanding and Darrell was  the worthy winner of the Manager of the Month award for December.

We could have said we are doing well enough so there is no need to strengthen. I believe the time to strengthen is when you are going well; to improve your chances of pushing on to be where you want to be. In our case that is to finish in the automatic promotion place. That is what our supporters want more than anything at this time.

On behalf of the Supporters Club it is my pleasure and delight to welcome Jermaine Easter to our club.In my view we have sent out a message; we mean business, we are determined to be up there and to build. Once there we must push on again; onwards and upwards.

Our supporters have been magnificent home and away all season. I really do hope that the signing of Jermaine goes a good way to show that the Football Club are just as  determined to be successful as our supporters are.

It’s all about winning football matches and together we can do this.
