Will He Be No. 30?

January 13, 2015

Adam Dawson has joined Bristol Rovers on an initial one months loan from Leicester City.

♦ Bristol Rovers are hoping to conclude the loan signing of Leicester City midfielder Adam Dawson tomorrow morning.

The player has been in Bristol today and has met manager Darrell Clarke and members of the Rovers squad.

There appear to be no major obstacles to the deal.

But until it is approved and signed off at the Leicester end we are unable to make any further comment.

At Meadow Lane he wore the number 25 shirt. Previously he wore number 12 when at Barrow on loan.

In his loan spells at Accrington Stanley and Nuneaton Town he wore the number 30 shirt.

This season in his two loan spells at Nuneaton Town between October 4th 2014 and January 1st 2015 he played 13 games and scored 3 goals.

He scored the winner against Lincoln City on 4th October and the 90th minute equaliser against Macclesfield Town on 1st November 2014.

He also scored once more in the 4-4 draw with AFC Telford United on the 26th December 2014.

He was substituted in this Boxing Day fixture in the 87th minute when the Nuns were 4-2 ahead.

He skilfully timed his loan spells so that he missed playing Bristol Rovers on both the 16th September 2014 and the 4th January 2015.
