The tall striker started his career at the Bristol Rovers youth academy but after being rejected, signed for Welsh League side Croesyceiliog.

He impressed enough to earn himself a move to home-town club Cwmbran Celtic then on to Barry Town where he finished as their top goalscorer in the 2011/12 season, scoring 16 goals in just sixteen appearances.

Carmarthen Town signed him in 2013 and he helped the club win the Welsh League Cup. He finished last season as top scorer with 19 goals in forty-three appearances for the Old Gold.

Subject to paperwork, Doidge will be added to the squad for the league game at Dover Athletic on Saturday 17th January.
