Together We Can
March 27, 2015
As we head north for the televised top of the table clash with Macclesfield, we can be sure of a very strong following.
Our home and away support has been second to none at this level and pretty much the next level up and two thirds of the level above that. Thank you for supporting Bristol Rovers; your support, faith and loyalty is so very much appreciated.
With just six games to go we know that the best way to get back to where we want to be is to do what only we can do; win football matches.
We can say to ourselves “Don’t worry about the others” but it is not that easy. As Rovers supporters will be watching the results of fixtures that will impact on the final outcome with more than an avid interest.
We will be following every game from start to finish. We will then be analyzing the latest situation and fixtures as it roles on to try to predict the final positions. We will be staring at the up to date League table for hours; it’s what football supporters do and we are no exception.
Whatever we predict, it is sure not to work out that way absolutely. There will be twists and turns right up to the final whistles are blown; remember Hartlepool?
What a great weekend away that turned out to be. We wish for the same feelings of relief and elation again but I have to be honest, I don’t need Wembley. All of our fans I have spoken to feel the same. We want do this in top spot.
So, all of our concentration is on Macca and then we will move on. I really do believe that we can do this. It’s the only way; believe, win football matches and let the others in the race worry about themselves.
Take good care on your journey up north from Bristol and from other parts and a safe return to your homes after the game. As well as the from West Country we will be there from London, The East and West Midlands, Yorkshire, The North West, South Coast, East Anglia, Wales, Scotland and all over All the very best, see you there and enjoy.
A536 Diversion – Macclesfield
This is an important road closure announcement for supporters attending our home game against Bristol Rovers.
On Saturday 28th March the A536 Congleton Road is closed from Pennington’s Lane to Ivy Lane throughout the day.
This road closure means that supporters should allow more time for their journey to follow diversion signs.
