Ground Work Started

April 16, 2015

If you are going to watch Bristol Rovers play against Dover Athletic you may see evidence of construction work.

Work has started to improve facilities to bring the ground in line with updated Football League guidelines.

Half of the funding is from grants, with the other half from Dover Athletic chairman Jim Parmenter.

There will be changes to the Dover End with regards to segregation.  Once completed, visiting supporters will be allocated half of the Dover End terrace and one block of seats in the Main Stand.

The family stand is being redeveloped to add 140 seats, with dedicated viewing areas for disabled supporters.

The current changing room block will become new medical facilities, a physiotherapy room and a stewards’ room.

Dover Athletic are building a new changing room block underneath the new Family Stand.DoVER_ATHLETIC_STAND
