FA Attention

April 28, 2015

Bristol Rovers FC have been asked by the Football Association¬†to explain why a smoke grenade was discharged in Saturday’s game with Alfreton Town on the North Terrace.

Supporters are reminded that it is a criminal offence to bring items such as this into a football stadium and anyone found in possession of these or similar items will face a lengthy ban.

Bristol Rovers Safety Officer Dave Harper said “It might be considered great fun to discharge flares but, apart from being an offence, it is an highly dangerous practice particularly on a very crowded terrace.”
