September 23, 2015
On Saturday September 19th 2015, the BRFC Academy Under 16 side hosted Yeovil Town.
They produced a terrific attacking display; especially in the first half.
What was especially pleasing was the fact that the players took on board what they had tried to do in training.
They applied the principles developed in the training situation and applied it to a match day.
Harrison Chamberlain scored twice, including the Academy Goal of the Week, and Josh Brace added the third.
In the second half they defended well and were hard to play against which was equally as pleasing.
On Sunday September 20th 2015 the Under 9 to Under 15 sides played against Cheltenham Town.
There were many excellent performances across the board.
The BRFC Academy Under 14 team produced a good all round performance.
The Under 10 squad demonstrated excellent expansive football in line with the academy’s philosophy.
