Update on the BRFC Academy fixtures from Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th January 2016.
The Under 16 squad travelled down to Plymouth Argyle for their first game since the Christmas break.
The game was played in horrendous conditions: with play being suspended due to thunder and lightning.
The players managed to put that to one side and produce an excellent all round display.
Goals came from James Spruce, Tom Phillips, Lewis Clutton, Dom Barresi, and Josh Brace.
There was also a hat-trick from Jordan Carey against a very competitive Plymouth Argyle team.
The Under 9 to Under 15 sides had fixtures against Swindon Town over the course of the weekend.
The Foundation Phase teams played their games in a Futsal format.
This provided the players with a different challenge; with games being competitive and exciting to watch.
The outstanding performance came from the BRFC Academy Under 14 team.
They produced a polished performance against a good Swindon Town side.
The BRFC Academy goals came from Ollie Hulbert and a brace from Kieran Phillips.
