Northampton Town’s Under 18 side began the second phase of their season with a draw..

They welcomed Yeovil Town to Moulton College in Football League YA Merit Division Two.

The game ended 2-2; with The Cobblers goals scored by Joe Iaciofano and Callum Westwood.

“It was a tough game in difficult conditions,” said Lead Foundation Coach Mark Lyons.

“We came from behind twice in the game and the attitude of the players was good.

“Both teams worked hard but I thought we showed the better quality on the ball.

Overall I was pleased with the application and effort of the players.”
