Bristol Rovers v Exeter City.

Sky Bet League Two. Saturday 23rd April 2016.

Match Referee:- NIGEL MILLER.

Nigel Miller from County Durham has never been the Match referee at a Bristol Rovers Home fixture. He has been in charge of 4 previous BRFC Away matches.

Nigel Miller last refereed an Exeter City match on February 7th 2015.

In that match the Grecians drew 1 v 1 with Bury at Gigg Lane.

He has officiated at a total of five Exeter City fixtures in his 13 year league career.

Nigel has been the person in charge for 4 previous BRFC matches.

He was the whistle blower on September 10th 2011 when Jamie Devitt “won” two penalties.

In that match against Bradford City Michael Flynn scored the penalties in the 64th and 93rd minutes.

Back in February 2011 he was in charge when Leyton Orient won 4-1 at Brisbane Road.

The game featured a 70th minute substitution when Scott McLeish was replaced by Harry Kane.

Seven and twelve minutes later Harry Kane had scored twice and sealed victory for Orient.

The other games featuring Nigel Miller were at Carlisle United and Darlington.

Both those games ended 1-1. So BRFC have never won a match with Nigel as the referee.

Assistants:- Joe Clark and Gavin Muge.

Fourth Official:- Marvyn Amphlett.
