Bristol Rovers are going to the Walking Football National Final.

The likely lads that represented Bristol Rovers in the Regional Walking Football finals at Exeter on Saturday 14th May 2016.

This season a total of 56 FL clubs have competed in the Walking Football Regional Finals.

The best teams from each of the regions now compete at St Georges Park on 7th June 2016.

Walking Football is a way for older supporters to stay active by participating in a sport that they enjoy.

It is a slow-paced version of the game which is aimed specifically at those aged 50 plus.

The top two teams in each regional group qualified for the national finals.

On Saturday 14th May regional finals took place in Blackpool, Doncaster, Exeter and Luton.

Bristol Rovers and Plymouth Argyle qualified from the Exeter Regional group.

Last year, Plymouth Argyle took the title with a 2-1 win in the final against Blackpool.

The current National Champions, Plymouth Argyle and Bristol Rovers are through to the 2016 Walking Football Finals at St. George’s Park in June 2016.
