Geraint Williams has announced his Under-21 squad for the upcoming UEFA EURO 2017 Group 5 qualifiers.

Tom Lockyer and Ellis Harrison are again selected for the squad.

U21 Squad announced for crucial qualifiers

The Wales Under 21 side currently sit in third place after seven games.

They next play at Wrexham when they face Denmark on Friday 2nd September 2016.

After this they head to Bangor for the match against Luxembourg on Tuesday 6th September 2016.

Both matches are scheduled to kick off at 5pm.

Wales claimed a credible point with a 0-0 draw away at group leaders Denmark last October.

This valuable point followed on from a 3-1 win in Luxembourg in Septemeber.

With three games remaining in the group, the side are chasing Romania and Denmark.

Wales are currently just one point behind Romania with both teams having played seven games.

The nine group winners automatically qualify for the finals with the four best runners-up entering the play-offs.

The group winners and two play-off winners will then join host nation Poland to compete in the finals
