A survey by the PST has rejected the Football League’s proposals for the Whole Game Solution.

The Portsmouth Supporters Trust commissioned a survey to gain feedback on the WGS ideas.

The Pompey board plan to use the Trust report as feedback into their own final response.

Portsmouth had 1,281 responses to their survey.

93.6 percent of the respondents were Portsmouth supporters.

The majority view is shown below:

1. Would you be in favour or against changing the Professional League Structure from the current 92 teams, to 100 teams playing in five divisions of 20 clubs?

Against: 85.84%.

2. Should the bottom two divisions of the EFL be regionalised into a North/South division?

No: 87.72%.

3. If the proposed changes were adopted, where would you rather the additional teams come from?

National League (Conference): 93.2%.

4. Would you be in favour of a Winter Break, or against it?

Against a Winter Break: 79.16%.

5. Would you be happy to see two rounds of the FA Cup moved into midweek slots?

No: 77.49%.

6. Would you be in favour of FA Cup Replays, or would you like fixtures decided on the day?

In favour of Replays: 66.64%.

7. Should the FA Cup Final be after the last game of the regular season?

Yes: 93.13%.8

8. What should happen to the EFL Checkatrade Trophy?

Revert back to L1 and L2 clubs: 61.28%.

• Only 9% of respondents were in favour of changing the league structure to 5 divisions of 20 teams

Less than 1% supported additional teams should coming from the Premier League (B Teams)

• Almost 80% were against a winter break

Two thirds of people wanted to keep FA Cup replays
