There will be One Minute’s Applause in memory of former Rovers player Ray Mabbutt.

This is planned for the moments before the Crawley Town FA Cup Replay on Tuesday 15th November 2016.

Born in Aylesbury on the 13th of March 1936, Ray passed away on the 2nd of November 2016.

Ray Mabbutt made 394 league appearances for the club and scored 27 goals during his career at Bristol Rovers.

He was one of the most popular players ever and played for Bristol Rovers between 1957/58 and 1968/69.

Bristol Rovers will be remembering one of its greatest servants.

Ray Mabbutt died of a heart attack and was 80 years old at the time of his death.

He will be missed by everyone connected with Bristol Rovers Football Club.
