Taylor Out

December 29, 2016

A big loss on New Year’s Eve as the 26-year-old striker is unavailable.

Bristol Rovers versus AFC Wimbledon will proceed without the prolific scorer.

He was the leading scorer for the club in the 2015/16 season with 23 goals in 48 appearances.

With a record of roughly one goal every two games in the last two seasons the striker will be sorely missed.

However, his recent record of just 1 goal in 8 games means his absence may not be so significant.

He is in fact the club’s third highest league goal-scorer this season behind Dominic Poleon and Tom Elliott

Lyle Taylor was dismissed in the 72nd minute in the 3-0 Boxing Day defeat at Roots Hall.

While Lyle Taylor is absent Matty Taylor is hoping to add to his total of 16 goals in all competitions this season.
