Sunderland away travel and match ticket information
November 24, 2018
Rovers have not played on Wearside since the 26th September 1992 when we achieved a 1-1 draw in at the ‘Black Cats’ former stadium Roker Park. With this being a ‘new ground’ for most ‘Gasheads’ we are expecting a lot of interest. It’s certainly not every day that Rovers get to play on a stage like this.
Setting a fair price for our coach/es for this trip has not been straightforward because of the distance involved. Two drivers will be required for each coach which makes this significantly the most expensive price per coach of this or probably any season! By using our normal formula for calculating the cost of coach seats we arrived at a figure of £47 for members. However, the Committee thought this would be too expensive and therefore we have decided on a capped cost of £40 for members and £45 for non-members. We hope that this will prove acceptable to our supporters for THE away trip of the season!
Coaches will depart Kingsway, Kingswood at 6.30am and the Memorial Stadium at 7am.
Bookings are now being taken for second coach which will only run if it is full, and there will be no option to add a third coach as at that time of year Eagle Coaches will not have six drivers to spare.
Coach seats can now be purchased in the club’s Superstore.
Darrell Clarke’s side travel to face Sunderland on Saturday, 15th December.
