2022/23 A SEASON IN REVIEW
It wasn’t a promotion season, just a first season back in League One; there were bad games and there were good games and, over the course of the campaign, there was inconsistency.
Nevertheless performances, if not results, led to optimism for the future and perhaps a play off push next time around.
The beauty of football is that you never know what’s round the corner and there is every reason to be optimistic about the future of our club, Bristol Rovers.
This is very much a personal opinion of games played during the season and I am grateful to Andy Downie, the club’s Media Officer, and JMP, for allowing me the use of the match action photos.
