The Bristol Rovers Supporters Club-sponsored Bristol Rovers Women’s FC aka The Gas Girls finally get to play their first home game this Sunday when they take on Forest of Dean Ladies at the state-of -the-art Lockleaze Sports Centre at 2pm.
Our side who have won won all four games so far with victories on the road at Abbeymead Rovers, Longlevens Ladies, Bristol Ladies Union and Bristol & West Ladies sit proudly at the top of Division One of the Gloucestershire County Women’s League and are looking forward to making the Lockleaze Sports Centre a fortress.
With the first team having no game and both of the Academy sides playing away from home this is the only show in town this weekend. The bar will be open and lunches will be served, and entry the game is totally free.
