Bristol Rovers Women’s FC is seeking to recruit a dynamic female coach to provide high quality delivery of our Women’s football programme.

As part of this voluntary role, the successful candidate will work closely with our Women’s and Girls Football Coordinator to deliver quality coaching to our Development Team players. In addition they will take responsibility for the games programme of the team with assistance from the voluntary staff. The successful applicant will also offer assistance with recruitment of new players into the women’s team.

As part of the Bristol Rovers Community Trust coaching pathway, there will be CPD opportunities as well as many other benefits to being a part of the Bristol Rovers Women’s FC backroom staff.

Tuesday evening training session 6pm – 7pm

Thursday evening training session 6pm – 7:30pm (Optional)

Sunday afternoon matches

During the football season from August to May

Working towards a FA Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football

FA Licensed Coach

Valid FA 1st Aid Qualification

Valid FA Safeguarding & Child Protection Qualification

Ability to relate effectively with the 16-18 age groups

Knowledge and understanding of child welfare and safeguarding issues relevant to this age group

Have held a full clean driving licence for more than 2 years with access to own transport

FA Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football

FA Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football

Experience of playing and/or coaching in the women’s game

Experience of coaching U18 football
