Welcome back to the Memorial Stadium – I’m glad you remembered how to get here again. This is our first home match for nearly six weeks and it’s over seven weeks since we prepared our last Supporters Club column…….

So much has happened since we last gathered here and yet not a lot has changed in our position. My personal feeling at this time is one of general satisfaction in that Rovers are well positioned 2nd in the League table but a little frustrated that ……

The Christmas holiday period was a good one with four wins and a draw from the five fixtures and the Manager of the Month award but the only two games since ……


As the Boss says we need to turn the many away draws into wins and last Saturday’s long trip round the M25 summed it up really. I have said in this column before that ……

Rovers have struggled on all our visits to these ‘lesser mortals’ despite ……

At the start it looked like Eastville on a really bad day and by the time the final whistle was blown it …..

From then on it was a bit of a lottery with returning ‘keeper Steve Mildenhall ……

Things should be different today with the Memorial Stadium pitch looking as pristine as it was back in August, the ‘egg-chasers’ now ……

Portsmouth Academy Under 18 side were defeated 3-0 by our lads who, unbeaten since September, have….

I shouldn’t mention it but Rovers have another chance of……….


So much has happened to both clubs since, most of it not very good, but I know you’ll be here in big numbers again this afternoon so let’s repeat that 2007 atmosphere and roar Rovers to another vital three points come five o’clock.

Up the Pirates!
