Thoughts Of Tis
April 22, 2016
Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale is expecting a “brilliant game”.
The Grecians travel to the Memorial Stadium to take on Bristol Rovers on Saturday 23rd April 2016.
“It’s near-enough a must-win, yes,” Paul said.
“The league table suggests that that is the case; we need nine points from the last three games.
Bristol Rovers are looking to edge into the automatic spots, so it’s going to be an interesting afternoon.
It’ll be a full house at an atmospheric stadium, with both sides needing to win.
Bristol Rovers have been great this season, but this is a big game for them too.
“It’s hard to forecast how we’ll react to the game; every game is different.
There has to be an element of business as normal, and a pragmatic approach to most of what we do.
I don’t mind the fact that they’ve got something to play for; in a way, there’ll be an equilibrium there.
If we go by the Yeovil game recently, we had a really good number of away fans there.
It’s going to be a brilliant game. I think everybody’s looking forward to it.
“We have doubts over David Wheeler, who picked up that late injury against Northampton.
It’s not a season-ender, but there’s a question mark over him.
Joel Grant returns to the squad, having been ill for the last couple of weeks.
Meanwhile Will Hoskins, Matt Oakley and Clinton Morrison will be out.
We’ve got three or four missing, yes, but we have plenty others.”
