50/50 winners

February 25, 2018

Half time draw winnings are not usually as high for a Tuesday mid-week game as it is for a Saturday when supporters have more time to buy their tickets. The £925 first prize given away at the Rochdale game was exceptional and so a massive thank you goes to all of you who found the time to purchase your tickets on the night.

Marc Watters was the lucky winner with ticket number 043813. Marc lives in the City and bought his ticket from Helen Wigmore in the Lancerscott area of the stadium. Many congratulations to Marc and very well done and thank you to Helen. At mid- week games we maintain a second second fixed prize of a decent £100. Chris Stevenson of Horfield collected the prize with ticket number 049411. Chris bought his ticket form Pete Collins at his station on Filton Avenue. Well done to Chris and thanks to Pete.

Marc collected his money after the game from the Supporters Club Cabin in the North East corner of the ground. Chris came forward and was photographed by the club photographer at half time.

A 50/50 draw was held at the beamback of Rovers Oxford United away game at the Kassam Stadium. The first prize of £112 was won by George Loud of Horfield with ticket numbered 044517; very nice for a Saturday night Out. A second prize of £10 was won by Barry Ldubgas of Lawrence Weston with ticket numbered 045035; a couple of pints to celebrate a great way victory. Well done to George and Barry.

Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and to thanks to Dave for selling the tickets on the day. All proceeds to the Academy, every penny helps and contributes to our future stars.

All proceeds from the 50/50 half time draw are donated to enable us to sponsor the Bristol Rovers Youth Academy and the Bristol Rovers Under 23 Development Group. Will you be a lucky winner today? Please purchase your tickets before the game from one of our volunteer sellers stationed at the entrances and all around the stadium. This could be your lucky day; all the very best to everyone.
